This is a very simple tutorial that I am writing today. You can get answer of your question how to change the color of clothes in a picture using photoshop. Its really very simple to do. Well, I have given five simple steps. You can follow them up to get your result. Here you go..
This is the original pic that I am going to modify. Here I picked up this photo from Google. One of the interesting movie of Korean Films, Playful Kiss, is one of my favorite. So I picked up this image. Now I am going to change the color of clothes that the actress is wearing. It is in red color now.
The very first step that you need to implement is to select Quick Selection ( available only in Adobe CS4 and CS5) or Magic Wand tool (used to select similar colors). After you select just drag on the red color areas of clothes of actress as shown by pic below.
After you select the required portion of clothes follow the steps below:click on Image menu --> Click on Adjustments --> Hue and Saturation
You will get a window as shown below.
Its almost done, all you need to do is adjust the hue bar dragging it left or right. You can see the effect direct on picture, make sure the 'Preview' option is ticked. I have kept -141 value in Hue and got the following color change.
